"One, Two, buckle my shoe..." prende il nome da un' antica filastrocca imparata a memoria tra I banchi delle scuole elementari.
Il mondo degli insetti che viveva tra le filigrane in oro brunito tipico delle creazioni vernissage lascia spazio questa stagione all'eco dei giochi d'infanzia dei genitori tra i campi verdi e le risaie.
Una rinnovata ricerca fatta di fotografie d'epoca, reali testimonianze e ricordi tramandati che diventano gioielli unici da indossare e un cortometraggio da ammirare.
L‘elemento di spicco è quest'anno l' argento brunito e cesellato a mano da maestri orafi impegnati come bambini di un'epoca passata a ingegnarsi per costruire fionde o retini per rincorrere non piu' farfalle o rane bensì diamanti e preziosità da catturare e rendere eterni.

THE NEW VERNISSAGE 2010 COLLECTION
"One, Two, buckle my shoe..." takes its name from an old children's nursery rhyme, learned by heart at primary school.
This season, the insect world which lived amongst the burnished gold filigree of most Vernissage creations goes into hiding to leave space to the echoes of parents' childhood games, between green grass and rice fields.
A brand new research made of vintage photographs, real-life stories and family memories which become unique jewels to wear and a short movie to watch and admire.
The key element this year is burnished silver, handcrafted by master jewellers: like children from a past time, they find endless ways to use it to build slingshots or nets - not to be used to catch frogs or butterflies any more, but to catch diamonds and precious things and keep them for eternity.
