SI' SPOSAITALIA COLLEZIONI - COLLEZIONI 2011
ST. PUCCHI
Collezione 2011

Acclaimed U.S. bridal collection St. Pucchi and award winning designer Rani Totman, returns to Milan this June to unveil her new 2011 collection at the prestigious Si Sposaitalia Collezioni fair for the second year. The new collection was inspired by Rani's travels, referencing European fine art and architecture, which, much like the St. Pucchi designs, blends modern innovation with signature old world elegance.

"We're thrilled to be invited back to unveil our new gowns for the world's most discriminating fashion audience", says Rani. "My international heritage and passion for travel can be seen in my new collection which is about capturing the fantasy, unprecedented glamour and elegance of past societies and centuries in a modern way that speaks to the most discerning brides to be from around the globe."

While St. Pucchi is based in the United States, the 2011 collection draws inspiration from the fine art and architecture of Europe. The Baroque ornamentation of the Smolny, the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, the complex but clean details of Bernini's work at St. Peter's Basilica and the movement and beauty of the Trevi Fountain and sculptures found at the Villa Borghese in Rome are the some of her muses for the new designs.

The most prominent look seen throughout the collection is a variety of corseted gowns, which are inspired by the sophistication and grandeur style of aristocratic women of the 16th century, and in line with beautiful architecture and structure found throughout Europe. With an emphasis on structured bodices with boning to accentuate the feminine form, this style flatters every figure and offers a modern yet classic feel that today's bride wants. Balancing the structure of these looks, Rani has paired the heavier looks with airy and light fabrics, such as lace with silk organdy, and satin with ricamo net.

Also showcasing this season are gowns in the signature St. Pucchi palette of colors of luxurious fabrics and rich laces ranging from traditional white and ivory, to fashion forward platinum, lilac, gold and butterscotch and paired with St. Pucchi's signature hand embroidery and crystallized beadwork.

St. Pucchi, which has a strong international following with exclusive boutiques throughout North America, Russia, the Middle East, Japan, U.K and Ireland, is celebrated for visionary design and style, and is worn by the world's most discerning brides including celebrities and style icons such as New York Giants' player Aaron Ross' wife Sanya Richards, Timbaland's wife Monique Idlett, Jason Priestly's wife Naomi Lowde, actress Candice Cameron and Grammy Award winning country music singer Alison Krauss who donned a specially designed Chantilly lace and Silk gown at the Country Music Awards.

Rani's signature designs have also been recognized in the media spotlight in high profiles magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Brides, Cosmopolitan Bride, Inside Weddings, Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot, Town and Country on TV shows such as "Entertainment Tonight," "One Life to Live," WE tv's phenomenal hit show "Girl Meets Gown," and most notably, on the finale of "Friends," as Phoebe captured the hearts of millions when she said "I Do" in a unique Lilac, corset bodice A-line St. Pucchi gown.
