A graduate of the Employers’ Federation School of Haute Couture, Paris, Suzanne Ermann learned with the greatest designers: Chanel, Chantal Thomas, Mugler.
In 1991 she opened her first boutique in the Marais district, Paris.
Often considered as a pioneer, Suzanne has imposed her style: « classic with a modern twist ».
Suzanne Ermann’s wedding and evening dresses are now distributed all over the world.
Either traditional or innovative, her fresh, elegant and modern creations meet the aspirations of the woman of today.
Her signature: pleats, hoops and her famous curls that come to life at the slightest motion.
Her codes: subtle ways of superimposing noble fabrics, shapes and transparencies to create exquisite dresses.
All her models are exclusively made in her Marais workshop/showroom in Paris.
SE Marier
A chic and modern ready-to wear collection in phase with the aspirations and budgets of today’s brides (from 2000€), with shapes adapted to any figures: Empire, sheath, mermaid and princess, or voluminous... White and off-white are in favour, ivory appears in small touches on a ribbon or a satin bias.
Suzanne Ermann’s famous curls enrich a petticoat, underline seams in order to shape the figure or shirr basques: « Clochette », « Sonnette ». Transparencies at play upon satin duchesse dresses, their jabots trimmed with braids of ribbons resting on wide smoking belts to create a « feminine-masculine » style: « Toinette », « Pâquerette », « Velvette »...
Low necklines: draped bustiers, curved or like waves, round with fine straps or puff sleeves: « Jasmine », « Ginette », « Henriette »...
MAIRIE 2011
Short pinafore dresses in mat satin, inspired by the sixties; or « cages » in tulle trimmed with two-tone braided ribbons, enhanced with curls or tulle flounces. Low necklines, with fine straps, crew necks in transparency or carved with lozenges embroidered with crystals, or also round low necks with puffed sleeves, are adorned with a large bow in tulle muslin: « Margot », « Mara », « Marguerite ». T.shirts in viscose jersey to be worn on a cage skirt or a petticoat of curls: « Typhanie ». This line is also available in colour: ivory, golden beige, nude, black ivory...
MARIEE COUTURE
Custom-made creations where precious materials mingle with audacious cuts (from 3000€). Sheathes draped with silk satin, a tulle wide-brimmed hat sewn
with ruches , American armholes cut in broderie anglaise; or backless dresses in organza stitched with large pleated flowers; but also cage dresses, their Empire waist embroidered with organza flowers; or voluminous dresses with a corseted waist prolonged by large basques with petticoats of tulle curls: « Victoria », « Valentine », « Valesca »; a wink at « the thirties » with a Charlestown dress in Chantilly lace : « Vanina », and at « the fifties » with models where ankles are showing, « Vava », « Velasquez »
COCKTAIL
Suzanne Ermann’s signature, her tulle or « curls », are coloured in beige, gold, rose nude, taupe, navy blue or black in order to animate and shape figures. This collection also proposes creations in fluid tulle trimmed with bias braid: « Marina », « Manuella ».
The low necklines are adorned with a jabot or a poncho: « Manuella », « Melanie »; American armholes: « Maryline »; or simply crew-neck: « Marie », « Marisa volutes »; with fine or large straps: « Marisa V de V ».
ACCESSORIES
And to sublimate each one of her creations, Suzanne Ermann has imagined a set of accessories: veils, stoles, hoops, gloves, bouquet-holders, headgear, sunshades, hair bands, purses etc.

Ceremonial dresses in phase with today’s little girls who no longer want the traditional « smocked dresses ». Suzanne Ermann has imagined timeless silhouettes rich in innovative details... Curls braided with satin: « Lola », « Farandole »; ribbons that spell messages: « Candy Oui », magnets that replace traditional buttons; screens of superimposed fabrics: « Scarlette », « Baboushka ».
